Society:-
“Gyanodaya Social, Educational & Welfare Society” is a society registered with the Registrar of the Firms and Society. The society is functional in the field of Education and Social welfare and has been active for last more than three years. In this short span of time it has established itself as a major force in affiliated field of education including recognition to the talented students, teachers and bringing out various competitions at National level. One of the major areas of the Society is professional development of Teachers in India and this is being done through bringing out an enriched magazine in the name of “Teacher’s Net”, which has subscribers from all over India and ais also sent beyond the boundaries through NET.
Other
projects of the society are as under:
1.
Teacher Excellence Award: This
is an award given to the most devoted & dedicated teachers every
year. The nominations are announced in the month of July and result
is declared on the basis of scrutiny of nominations by a panel of
eminent educationists. There are total five categories as following
for which the award is being given.
i. BEST ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE
ii.
BEST ORGANISING PERFORMANCE
iii.
BEST ADMINISTRATIVE PERFORMANCE
iv.
BEST PROFESSIONALISM
v.
BEST PERSONAL TRAITS
Be
it noted that it is not necessary that awards are given in all
categories]
2.
All India Creative Hand Contest – It is a national level art
competition organized every year for the students of III – XII.
Scholarship & prizes are given to the students accordingly.
3.
All India CBSE Mock Test – It is a Pre-Board test for the
aspirants of class X and XII held every year. The details are
published in ‘Teacher’s Net’ from August issue onwards every year.
The Question Papers and Evaluation Scheme are sent to the schools in
phased manner. The schools hold the examination themselves and
evaluate the performance of the students. The Question Paper and the
Evaluation Scheme is designed by the experts on the panel of the
Society as per CBSE pattern.
